8 X 8 X 100
Carter Burden Gallery is pleased to announce a summer group exhibition 8 x 8 x 100 on July 28th. The reception will be held July 28, 2016 from 6 – 8 PM. The nonprofit Gallery highlights re-emerging professional artists who are increasingly overlooked for exhibiting work due to age. The exhibit runs for one day and one night beginning at 11 AM and ending at 8 PM at 548 West 28th Street in New York City.
All of the artists created artwork using identical 8” x 8” canvas. The resulting paintings, photographs, sculpture, and collages vary drastically, highlighting their diverse strengths as artists. The pieces have been priced at $100 to be accessible to first time collectors.
